What kind of oil would be best for an Italian car?
I own a 1987 Alfa Romeo Milano. It is a sports sedan that takes at least 87 gas. I recently purchased it, and its fluid levels are fine. However, when I eventually need to replace the oil, I’d like to know what the best motor oil would be. Currently, I’m thinking about Royal Purple or Pennzoil.
First of all, would a synthetic be better?
Secondly, if you could recommend a specific brand/product, that would be great!
Whats a good car for a 17 year old? (UK) (Punto or 147)?
Just passed my driving test, and i am now looking for a car.
I have about £3000 pounds to spend.
I am Italian and want something to represent this…
I have 2 ideas in my head…
Mk3 Fiat Punto 1.2L 16v Active Sport 3dr (2004 – 2005) (£2500 – £3000)
Alfa Romeo 147 1.6L Lusso 3dr (2001- 2002) (£1500-£2000)
Or similar… (Give opinions)
Modifications to the Punto will be as follow:
Abarth side skirts, 17" Wolfrace alloy wheels, 40mm lowering springs, Remapped ecu, Exhaust system, K&N air filter + more…
Aim: To give the Punto a more sportier look.
Modifications to the 147 will be as follow:
New shape (2005 onwards) Front and rear bumpers, Headlights, Taillights, Genuine Mito alloy wheels, Exhaust system, K&N air filter + more…
Aim: To upgrade the mk1 147 into the mk2 version.
The car will be very specific… It will provide me with driving pleasure and a project to work on. The car will be kept for 2 – 3 years.
A crappy Fiesta or Corsa will just not be suitable!
Alfa Romeo 164 L 1991?
Ok. i am looking at an Alfa Romeo 164 L 1991 its a 4 door and has leather seats and is automatic . for what im told its italian and will last me forever. it only has 131 thousand on it for miles. and it run’s great. Could anyone give me anymore info. like how long they usally do last. what usally goes wrong with them. what they are cosiderd like a sports car or a family car. anything like that how is the gas mileage anything like that. and would it be a good car to get. and what do they usally go for price wise for a used one

What is the most beautiful Italian sports car ever?
So many choices….Ferrari….250 GT, 612 Scaglietti, 360 Modena, 430, even the Enzo. Lamborghini…Countach, Diablo, and now their Gallardo. Alfa Romeo…with all their convertibles. Maserati…Gransport and of course Quarttraporte.
What do you think is the most beautiful Italian car ever made?
