Are Ferrari a bunch of clowns or what?
Well, Red Bull boss Christian Horner and I are in total agreement, what I was saying all along during the FIA-FOTA war:
"For Formula One to lose a name, and the biggest car manufacturer in the world in Toyota, is disappointing.
But it shows Formula One should not be reliant on manufacturers."
Ferrari though as usual are in their own world:
"Formula 1 continues to lose major players: in the past twelve months, Honda, BMW, Bridgestone and Toyota have announced they are leaving the sport.
The reality is that this gradual defection from the F1 fold has more to do with a war waged against the major car manufacturers by those who managed Formula 1 over the past few years, than the result of any economic crisis."
The way I see it FIA went head to head with the manufacturers because it was THEY who were always looking to get an advantage by spending big bucks.
And they have all pulled out through a decision by the boards for COST CUTTING based on GLOBAL ECONOMIC RECESSION.
So WTF are those otherwise likable Italians mumbling about now???
Any good inexpensive sports cars?
I’m 21, and I’m in college. I currently don’t have a car whatsoever, but i do know how to drive. Unfortunately the public transportation they have just for the university is pretty crappy. I’m thinking of getting my own car. I want manual transmisson for the first part. I learned on stick shift, and I’ve driven an automatic too, and I prefer manual for it’s better control. The body style should be a four seater, (to transport my classmates.) two door coupe. As for where I’m going, the answer to that is, well, everywhere, the store, my classes, road trips, you name it. My budget is up to about ,000. I prefer american brands, such as ford, Chevy, ect. As well as german sports car brands like BMW, and mercedes. I’m not sure about japanese brands such as toyota, They may not cut it. As for british brands, although they are expensive, they are so desirable! If there is good deals on maybe a jaguar that would fit my budget, that would be an honor. Italian brands, OMG, They’re great. Although there’s a 99.9% chance I’m not getting one. I need also a comfortable interior, a cd/mp3 player, a good ac (It gets so hot here, I need a good ac), a radio, and other miscellaneous stuff. I’ll buy either new or used. But if its used, it has to be in good condition. I don’t want it to be TOO much of a gas guzzler as well. That’s about it. Answers needed.

What type of racing or career is this?
Racing where you take Porshe’s, BMW’s, Viper’s, Maserati’s, Jaguar’s, Audi’s, or pretty much any other German, Italian, French car or any from europe some from America oh and cars ftrom Japan compete in this racing. This racing is represented in the Gran Turismo video game series better then any other video game. Regular sports cars are converted to have more power and performance and sponsers are added. Races can be on the famous Laguna Seca Raceway, Nurburgring, or Le Mans. An example of the cars used is the BMW M3 GTR, BMW Mclaren, Dodge Viper GTS, these aren’t cars that are one seated speed machines that are similer to formula one.
So what is this racing called?
What do I have to go through to become a racer in this racing?
Is it possible to become a racer from places in the Eastern U.S like is there a college I should go to or are these career path’s only available in California and Asia and Europe?

You are in charge of all marketing activities in North America for the Italian luxury sports car manufacturer?
Maserati. Maserati has just introduced a new model that will be competing directly against some other well-known luxury sports cars such as Porsche, Ferrari, Jaguar, and the BMW Z8.
How would you positioning strategy for the new Maserati model? What would you do to support and establish this positioning strategy? Keep in mind that although Maserati is as good as its competitors in terms of the car performance and design, it is a small company and it does not have the same amount of money for heavy promotions as its competitors.
