I’m looking for an Italian style car, but with an American engine and other parts, like the DeTomaso Pantera. I have always liked Italian sports cars, and I may be able to afford an older, cheaper one, but the maintenence costs are outrageous. I am looking for an affordable italian sports car. So far, I can only think of the Pantera, because it uses a Ford 351c, and it has a large following and many parts are readily available.
I’m looking to spend 10k to 30k

I mean seriously, when did humility and the joy of a simplistic lifestyle go out the window? I am unimpressed by this material excess of today, people wanting big mansions, yachts, Italian sports cars and all of this other pointless, hollow junk. I grew up in a wealthy family and find that I’m much happier living in a 30 square foot yurt on the Oregon coast. Is it just me, or does it seem like those who grew up living under the poverty line are more inclined to be materialistic than those who grew up in more well off households? Because that would certainly make a lot more sense.

I guess I don’t have any real defining question, so I’ll just sum all of this up with this one question; what’s the deal, yo?
Kelsta, you seem like a sensible chap. So what I’d like for you to do is ask yourself why you think you need a nicer car. I mean if it functions better, then by all means get the nicer car. But if we’re talking about a Toyota that gets 50 miles to the gallon or a Maserati that only gets 16, I would absolutely take the Toyota. And besides, hard work is food for the soul. Man was not built to sit around and do nothing all day, that’s why obesity is such a problem today. I hope that you understand someday because speaking as someone whose seen both sides of the mountain, the humble side is so much more beautiful. Peace brother.

I am 28 so I am not going to grow any taller. I am 5′5". I have never had a date before and am wondering what type of ladies would date a guy who is short.

I had a vision last night that Jesus wanted me to be wealthy beyond measure. He was quite specific that he meant this in monetary terms and not in spiritual terms so please no nonsense about being spiritually rich, thank you very much. So could you please start sending today? He also wants me to drive a Lamborghini so please don’t be cheap! I thought I’d share this. A friend sent it to me after reading it on Men.Style. Someone had written a reply to a question about leather pants and the typical answers that are always given. I thought it was funny the way that he turned the issue on its head.

As *all* of the smart people know, no guy should wear those unless he’s Jim Morrison. Only Jim could pull it off, because he was…Jim Morrison. It’s the law. In fact, I hear that Obama is introducing the "Not Jim Morrison Bill" to the Senate later this month to stop the out of control wearing of leather pants by anyone other than – you guessed it – Jim Morrison. And it’s about freaking time too! I’m so sick of these wannabees with deep pockets trying to look comfortable and stylish in their Italian or French leather pants. Even though they must be dying of discomfort like Ross was [because, let’s face it, whatever happens on Friends must be true: Hootie and Blowfish rule!] they try so hard to look like they enjoy wearing those four-figure pants. So sad…

It’s like those losers with Italian sports cars. You can tell they’re unhappy and stupid because they don’t drive what everyone else drives. Heh heh…fools. They’ll discover Lada sooner or later [Spasebo]. Back to the law, though, I do feel really bad for poor Slash…He’s gonna look funny naked. But at least everyone who used to wear leather pants will like that because they are all gay, you know. That’s the law too, but Obama couldn’t get anyone to ratify that one because of political correctness.

I thought it was obvious, but please note that the person who wrote this was not serious. He was saying things like "it’s the law", "they’re all gay" to point out how ridiculous the stereotypes have become. I guess it helps to have the whole context of where it was written. I know it’s someplace on Men.Style in the forums…

How come you have NFL players all over the league who get caught drinking and driving, driving while on drugs, crashing their Italian sports cars then leaving the scene, getting arrested for beating people, raping women, shooting people, being present when people are murdered, getting caught with prostitutes, doing drugs, dealing drugs, and transporting drugs, who end up paying a few fines and sitting out a few games?

AND THEN you have Michael Vick who admits to dogfighting, but ends up losing a hundred million dollar contract, loses all his endorsement deals, his career as a Falcon is over, his career in the NFL is questionable, and to top it all off he’s looking at potentially 5 years in prison? Why is crime against human beings punishable by paying a fine and sitting out a few games, but the cost of lying about dogfighting is a man’s career, his freedom, and hundreds of millions of dollars?

My husband just bought 2 speakers that are w26" x h45" x d18". They are enormous and super high gloss lacquered black. My living room is light neutrals and modernist furniture. It looks like I have two Italian sports cars parked in my LR. What can I do to make them less visually demanding?
