Well, Red Bull boss Christian Horner and I are in total agreement, what I was saying all along during the FIA-FOTA war:

"For Formula One to lose a name, and the biggest car manufacturer in the world in Toyota, is disappointing.
But it shows Formula One should not be reliant on manufacturers."

Ferrari though as usual are in their own world:
"Formula 1 continues to lose major players: in the past twelve months, Honda, BMW, Bridgestone and Toyota have announced they are leaving the sport.
The reality is that this gradual defection from the F1 fold has more to do with a war waged against the major car manufacturers by those who managed Formula 1 over the past few years, than the result of any economic crisis."

The way I see it FIA went head to head with the manufacturers because it was THEY who were always looking to get an advantage by spending big bucks.
And they have all pulled out through a decision by the boards for COST CUTTING based on GLOBAL ECONOMIC RECESSION.
So WTF are those otherwise likable Italians mumbling about now???

I love to surf, snowboard, waterskii,play soccer,basketball and volleyball. Just passed my driving test, and i am now looking for a car.
I have about £3000 pounds to spend.

I have 2 ideas in my head…
Mk3 Fiat Punto 1.2L 16v Active Sport 3dr (2004 – 2005) (£2500 – £3000)

Alfa Romeo 147 1.6L Lusso 3dr (2001- 2002) (£1500-£2000)

Or similar… (Give opinions)

Modifications to the Punto will be as follow:
Abarth side skirts, 17" Wolfrace alloy wheels, 40mm lowering springs, Remapped ecu, Exhaust system, K&N air filter + more…
Aim: To give the Punto a more sportier look.

Modifications to the 147 will be as follow:
New shape (2005 onwards) Front and rear bumpers, Headlights, Taillights, Genuine Mito alloy wheels, Exhaust system, K&N air filter + more…
Aim: To upgrade the mk1 147 into the mk2 version.

The car will be very specific… It will provide me with driving pleasure and a project to work on. The car will be kept for 2 – 3 years.

A crappy Fiesta or Corsa will just not be suitable!

I am getting married in September (in dayton OH) and my fiancee really wanted to rent a lamborghini to leave in. First, there are no rental places around here that have lamborghinis, and second, I didn’t really want to spend two grand to drive the car for a few hours. I have also been thinking of doing one of those "driving experience" things where you pay so much and get to drive a couple of exotic cars on a track or something. That I would be willing to travel for. But I still don’t want to spend an outrageous amount of money. So, if anyone has any ideas on places to go (haven’t been able to find much). I would ideally like to find someone local (or close enough, I should say) that I could rent a lamborghini from for like an hour or so. Just to leave the wedding in. Thanks a lot!!

I was thinking in getting a Lamborghini replica but i don’t wanna get maked fun off. Is it real visible that its fake when you see it or is it just if you tell the person its fake ?

what is the difference of a real Lamborghini "LOOKS" not engine or sound but "ONLY LOOKS" than a replica Lamborghini?

I thought I’d share this. A friend sent it to me after reading it on Men.Style. Someone had written a reply to a question about leather pants and the typical answers that are always given. I thought it was funny the way that he turned the issue on its head.

As *all* of the smart people know, no guy should wear those unless he’s Jim Morrison. Only Jim could pull it off, because he was…Jim Morrison. It’s the law. In fact, I hear that Obama is introducing the "Not Jim Morrison Bill" to the Senate later this month to stop the out of control wearing of leather pants by anyone other than – you guessed it – Jim Morrison. And it’s about freaking time too! I’m so sick of these wannabees with deep pockets trying to look comfortable and stylish in their Italian or French leather pants. Even though they must be dying of discomfort like Ross was [because, let’s face it, whatever happens on Friends must be true: Hootie and Blowfish rule!] they try so hard to look like they enjoy wearing those four-figure pants. So sad…

It’s like those losers with Italian sports cars. You can tell they’re unhappy and stupid because they don’t drive what everyone else drives. Heh heh…fools. They’ll discover Lada sooner or later [Spasebo]. Back to the law, though, I do feel really bad for poor Slash…He’s gonna look funny naked. But at least everyone who used to wear leather pants will like that because they are all gay, you know. That’s the law too, but Obama couldn’t get anyone to ratify that one because of political correctness.

I thought it was obvious, but please note that the person who wrote this was not serious. He was saying things like "it’s the law", "they’re all gay" to point out how ridiculous the stereotypes have become. I guess it helps to have the whole context of where it was written. I know it’s someplace on Men.Style in the forums…
